Spring greetings from Walchensee

I kicked off this year's hiking season at Walchensee, a pristine lake in the Voralpenland region south of Munich.

Time really flies. I've been meaning to write a longer post, but writing takes time, and time is something I currently don't have too much of, having started a new job at TALOS in September. However, I wanted to share a few pictures from my time in Munich thus far.

In the end of May I got a chance for a long weekend bike trip, thanks to Bavaria's ample religious holidays. I decided to take a regional train (free with the Deutschlandticket) to Passau and make my way through the hilly region of Bayerwald, bordering Austria and Czechia.

Today with some of the other students at DLR we went on a hike to Königssee, Germany's 3rd deepest (190 m) and arguably most photogenic lake.

Last month it was time to say goodbye to Toulouse, and France in general, as I headed to Munich in Germany to start my end-of-studies internship.
